Totterdell Maintains Mellor's Start (22:22 25/11/2008)
Mellor maintained a 100 per cent record with a 2-1 away win at Whalley Range.
Mellor missed a good chance and also hit a post in the first half. Range hit the inside of a post on 47 minutes but the ball bounced clear. Range went 1-0 up after the Mellor defence failed to deal with a long punt downfield on 57 minutes. But the visitors equalised on 76 minutes when a cross from Liam Totterdell was headed back by Craig Frisby and a mix up led to a Range defender blasting into his own goal. Liam Totterdell scored the winner eight minutes from time after good work by Barry Dalby.
